Backup
SherDore Backup archives your website’s files and its WordPress database with one drop-in PHP file, and stores the archives away from your server. A bad update, a hack or a hosting failure never leaves you with nothing.

What it does
Section titled “What it does”- Files archive. All of the site’s files are packed into one compressed archive and uploaded.
- WordPress database. On WordPress sites the database is dumped and uploaded alongside the files. Other sites back up files only.
- Stored off your server. Archives go straight to cloud storage, separate from your hosting.
- One PHP file to install. No SSH, no plugin and no server credentials. See Install the agent.
- Keeps the latest five. The five most recent completed backups of each site are kept, and older ones are cleaned up after each new one.
- Download any time. Every backup is listed with its status, and each archive downloads with a click.
